Tuesday, April 3, 2007

Maybe just maybe we can get rid of this snow/tstorm crap and get the real severe weather started its 384hrs out but its something

MODELS ARE STARTING TO SHOW MORE SUMMER LIKE WEATHER WITH MAYBE THE FIRST BIG SEVERE WEATHER EVENT FOR MONTANA,NORTHDAKOTA,SOUTHDAKOTA,WYOMINGAND MAYBE NEBRASKA
ITS WAY FAR OUT AND MODELS ALWAYS CHANGE BUT IT DOES LOOK GOOD FOR SEVERE WEATHER ILL POST UPDATES AS IT GETS CLOSER AND IF IT STILL LOOKS LIKE SEVERE WEATHER IS LIKELY.

Possible severe weather tuesday through wed?

As you can see above from the image. There will be a chance for severe weather.tuesday dynamics will be on place for a few severe storms at this time it appears large hail and strong winds. will be the main threats although model trends will have to be mointered. For the possiblity of a isolated tornado but at this time chances are not that good. Then from there things should move east southeast through out the night and into wed.

Severe wx possible some time between tuesday-thursday

Latest SPC Mref-mars model data is showing a 15% contour line over central SD which is most of the time a slight risk but there is a lot to look at ill post a update later when i check the new model data and think severe wx is a good bet.

Warm summer like weather ahead

Latest models have been showing a warm up with moisture come up out of the gulf.Putting temps by mid march to the 25th in the mid to lower 60's there is one interesting thing to point out is that well it does this in the end of the long term it has 2-3 systems hitting the northern plains and it looks like they will have a tough time having any snow in them as well with this warm air comes instability we very well could have are first severe weather however it might be isolated i would'nt be surprised some time after march 20 before march 29th to see a few good storms but don'nt hold me too that thats what it looks like for now however i can say i think its a safe bet after this upcoming weekthe worst of the winter for the northern plains should be over.
